Sod Installation & Lawn Care in Niagara Falls

Lawns in Niagara Falls, by people who only do lawns

We are not general landscapers. Grass is the whole job here — soil, seed, sod, feeding and the grading underneath all of it — which means when your lawn is doing something odd, we can usually tell you why rather than just selling you the fix.

LawnJunkie has worked in Niagara Falls since 2021, alongside St. Catharines, Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Welland, Fonthill and Jordan.

What we do in Niagara Falls

  • Sod installation — prep, grade and fresh sod. The one service where you get a finished lawn the same day the crew packs up.
  • Seeding and overseeding — thicken a thin lawn or start one from scratch. Slower than sod, easier on the budget, far more choice of grass.
  • Lawn fertilizer program — a season-long feeding plan built around what your soil is actually short of, rather than a one-size bag from the hardware store.
  • Aeration and dethatching — compacted soil and a thick thatch layer will choke a lawn no matter what you feed it.
  • Lawn leveling and grading — bumps, hollows, and the dip that swallows a mower wheel.
  • Lawn renovations — for a lawn too far gone to rescue with fertilizer. Back to soil, and rebuilt properly.
  • Grass cutting and trimming — regular cuts, clean edges, and the trimming around beds and fences that most people skip.
  • Custom golf and putting greens — a real putting surface in your own yard. Almost nobody else in Niagara builds them.

Where we work in Niagara Falls

We have worked with clients in Calaguiro Estates, along Kalar Road, in Stamford Centre, Mount Carmel and Chippawa — and plenty of streets in between. If you are somewhere we have not named, ask anyway; Niagara Falls is well inside our normal run.

A Niagara Falls job, photographed while it happened

A renovation had just wrapped up and the front yard was whatever the builders left behind: compacted, rutted, and walked over for months. The bin was still on the driveway when we started.

It got tilled, graded and raked out before a single roll of sod went down. That is the part nobody sees, and the part that decides whether new sod knits into the ground or just sits on top of it drying out. Autumn sod is easier than people expect — cool air, soil that is still warm, and rain doing most of the watering for you.

One thing we do not do in Niagara Falls

Snow removal. For the 2026/27 season our residential snow contracts cover St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake only. We would rather say so here than take your call in December and disappoint you.
