What a spring cleanup covers in Jordan
Spring is built around the property, because a village lot in Jordan and an acre on the bench don't come out of winter the same way. So a spring cleanup can include leaf and winter-debris cleanup, garden bed cleanup, pruning, overseeding of thin or damaged areas, gutter cleaning, and more — and which of those your lot needs is decided when we walk it, not before.
The overseeding is the part worth knowing about out here. Fast-draining bench soil comes out of winter thin in places, April is the moment to seed, and it's the same seed we use on our seeding jobs, so a spring cleanup can quietly be the first step of a better lawn.
What a Jordan winter leaves behind
Two things make Jordan different from the towns east of it. The first is the land. Jordan sits in the Town of Lincoln, on and below the escarpment, between the specialty-crop land the Town's Official Plan protects and the Twenty Valley itself. Lots run bigger than a city subdivision, driveways run longer, and a property on the bench can have mature trees on one side and open ground on the other. A winter's worth of wind puts whatever it collected along the drive edges and against the fences, and walking the whole line is a longer job than the same house in St. Catharines. That's why we quote after looking rather than off a list.
The second is where the debris can go. Lincoln is on Niagara Region's collection: weekly leaf and yard waste, all year, no bag limit, paper or certified-compostable bags only, at the curb by 7 a.m. Branches and hedge cuttings go on the truck for four weeks each spring, tied and under 22.7 kg (the Region publishes the dates each year). Lincoln residents can also drop yard waste at the Region's Niagara Road 12 depot in West Lincoln — a trip a bench lot can fill several times over. Our haul-away means you don't make it. What a spring cleanup can include
Built around the property. Yours might need all of these or two of them:

When we do it in Jordan, and how to book
Once the ground has dried enough to work without leaving ruts. On the bench that can be earlier than in the cities, because the soil drains fast, and overseeding wants it warming, so on a property that needs seed we may come twice: debris, beds and pruning first, seed a little later. Large lots are often two visits regardless.

When does spring cleanup booking open?
Early February, for spring 2027. Get on the list any time before that by sending the form or calling 905-401-7600, and we come back to everyone on the list in February to set a date.
Do you cover Jordan Station and the bench, or just the village?
Jordan Village, Jordan Station, Jordan Harbour and the Twenty Valley bench, all of it. Jordan is the western edge of where we work, so if you're further along the lake in Vineland or Beamsville, ask — we'll tell you straight whether we can fit it.
My lot is big, with a long driveway. Can you handle it?
Yes. It's a bigger quote and often two visits, and we say so up front rather than pricing it like a subdivision lot and surprising you on the day.
Do you spray for weeds or apply anything?
A cleanup doesn't include spraying or treatments. Feeding the lawn is a separate service, the fertilizer program, and it usually starts right after the cleanup.
Can you overseed the thin patches?
Yes, and on bench soil spring is exactly the time. We use the same seed as on our seeding jobs. If the soil isn't warm enough on cleanup day, the seed goes down on a second visit.
Do you do snow removal in Jordan?
No, not this winter. Our 2026/27 snow routes cover St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake only. Cleanups, lawns and fences in Jordan, yes; snow, not yet.
